The DEFENDER is EUNORAU's single-motor, full-suspension e-bike: one 500W rear hub motor with 60 Nm (44 lb-ft) of torque. The DEFENDER-S is the separate dual-motor model.

A 100mm front fork, air rear shock, 3-inch tires and hydraulic brakes make it comfortable on broken pavement, gravel and light trails. It is not built for technical downhill or deep sand.

StreetRides ships the EUNORAU DEFENDER to riders in Denver, Seattle, San Diego, Portland and across the U.S.

Choose DEFENDER when full suspension matters more than all-wheel drive: rough neighborhood streets, maintained gravel, fire roads and recreational riding where a rear shock can reduce repeated impacts. The 17-inch and 19-inch Army Green choices serve the broadest fit range. Safari is currently listed only in 19 inches.

Look elsewhere for technical downhill riding, frequent stair carries or deep loose sand. EUNORAU sizes it for riders 5 ft 3 in to 6 ft 4 in. Check stand-over and reach too.

The 48V 500W rear hub motor has up to 60 Nm (44 lb-ft) of torque. It has a thumb throttle and five assist levels.

It ships in the Class 2 setting, limited to 20 mph. Keep it there on public roads and paths, and check state and local rules.

The removable 48V 15Ah battery holds 720Wh and charges with a 2A charger. EUNORAU rates up to 80 miles with an optional second battery.

Plan your rides around the standard battery. Terrain, temperature, load, tire pressure, assist level and throttle use all cut range.

The DEFENDER has 180mm hydraulic disc brakes with motor-cutoff levers, a 40-lux front light and a taillight. Check brake alignment, tire pressure and all fasteners before the first ride, then match speed to surface and visibility.

EUNORAU lists the DEFENDER as UL certified but does not name the standard. Ask StreetRides if you need the certificate.

EUNORAU includes a tool, but check the handlebar, pedals, wheels, brakes, drivetrain, suspension bolts and tire pressure before the first ride.

EUNORAU's warranty covers the bike, and StreetRides helps you with claims. Keep the serial number and receipt. StreetRides returns: request within 7 days of delivery, 20% restocking fee.

Drive and controls: 48V 500W rear hub motor, 60 Nm (44 lb-ft) max torque, thumb throttle, five assist levels, BC182 display and EUNORAU app. Ships in the Class 2 setting at 20 mph.

Battery and chassis: removable 48V 15Ah (720Wh) battery, optional second battery, 6061 aluminum full-suspension frame, ZOOM 100mm fork, EXA 165mm rear shock, ChaoYang 27.5 x 3-inch tires, Shimano 7-speed and 180mm hydraulic brakes. 66 lb, 300 lb payload, riders 5 ft 3 in to 6 ft 4 in.

Buy the DEFENDER when a rear shock is the deciding feature. It is 13.4 lb lighter than the FAT-AWD 3.0 Step Thru and costs less, while keeping a 500W rear motor, hydraulic brakes and wide tires.

The trade-offs: it is not AWD, EUNORAU does not name the pedal sensor, and the 80-mile range needs a second battery.
