Meet One Tour Lite 2.0 Full Suspension Electric Trike

The Tour Lite 2.0 fits you if your constraint is balance, comfort, or load capacity. A 60s, 70s, or 80s rider who has stepped away from bicycling because of a balance concern or a knee or hip issue. Routes that match the Tour Lite 2.0: paved neighborhood streets, suburban side roads with bike lanes, gravel paths in a local park, packed-dirt fire roads on a nature reserve, beach boardwalks, RV-park internal roads, and the half-mile cluster of streets between a senior community and the nearest grocery store. The trike covers these calmly at the 20 mph top speed with the throttle, the pedal assist, the cruise control, or the reverse mode for tight-spot maneuvering.

Skip the Tour Lite 2.0 when storage is a multi-flight walk-up apartment without a garage or covered patio (164 lb net weight and 50+ inch length is not portable). Skip it when routes are exclusively smooth indoor flooring (a wheelchair or mobility scooter is the right tool). Skip it if you want a folding trike for RV or sedan-trunk transport (the Breeze Pro 2.0 is the folding sibling).

The 750W rear motor peaks at 1200W with 90 Nm of torque and a 20 mph top speed. The 20 mph top speed matches the Class 2 e-bike limit. Trike rules vary by state, so check your local rules before riding. Ninety Nm starts the trike from a stop with a rider and a loaded basket. Meet One rates climbing at up to 25 percent, which is realistic at lower assist on short slopes.

Driving modes are throttle, pedal assist with a torque sensor, cruise control and reverse. Reverse lets you back out of a tight parking spot, garage corner or driveway without getting off. The parking brake holds the trike on slight slopes, and a speed differential helps the rear wheels through turns.

The Yolin color LCD shows speed, battery level, ride mode, trip distance and assist level. The headlight, taillight and brake light help at dusk and dawn. Turn signals are not included, so ask StreetRides if your area requires them.

The standard battery is a 48V 20Ah (960Wh) pack with LG cells, certified to UL 2271. A second 20Ah battery raises capacity to 1920Wh. Each battery weighs 10 lb (4.5 kg).

Meet One rates the single battery for 45 to 110 miles. The high figure is low pedal assist with a light rider. A 180 lb rider on throttle at 15 to 20 mph with 30 to 50 lb of cargo should plan on 22 to 35 miles. The dual battery gives about 45 to 70 miles in the same conditions. Hills, cold and heavy loads cut range further.

Use only the included Meet One 3A charger. Charge in a dry, ventilated area while you are home, and unplug once full. The U.S. CPSC Micromobility Information Center lists safe charging practices for lithium batteries.

The LG battery is UL 2271 certified, and the full trike is certified to UL 2849 by SGS, an accredited testing lab. UL 2271 covers the battery. UL 2849 tests the battery, charger, controller and wiring as one system.

Hydraulic disc brakes on all three wheels give strong, even stopping on a trike that does not lean into turns. The parking brake holds it on slight slopes. The reinforced one-piece 6061 aluminum frame supports the 550 lb load. Wear a fitted bike helmet at any speed.

The Tour Lite 2.0 ships 85 percent assembled with a manual, a 3A charger, touch-up paint and screws, the battery, tools and keys. Final assembly takes about 30 to 60 minutes, or about 90 minutes if you have never built a bike. First ride: check tire pressure with a gauge (the manual lists the range), squeeze both brake levers, set and release the parking brake, and try reverse in a parking lot. Practice throttle, pedal assist and tight turns at low speed before riding in public.

The Tour Lite 2.0 is Meet One's single-motor full-suspension trike. A UL 2271 battery plus UL 2849 certification by SGS is rare in this class, and it matters if you need certificates for housing, insurance or an RV park.

The trade-offs are the single motor and the size. One 750W rear motor will not climb like the dual-motor Tour 2.0 on long hills with a heavy load. At 164 lb, it stays where you park it. Plan on 22 to 35 miles of real range on one battery, not 110.
