NEW-TRIKE 2.0 is EUNORAU's upright folding cargo trike with a front 500W hub motor, 48V 20Ah battery, cadence-sensing assist, seven gears and front and rear baskets.

The second-generation decision is larger than the battery: hydraulic brakes with a parking function and an adjustable backrest address two practical trike moments, stopping while loaded and settling into the saddle.

StreetRides ships the EUNORAU NEW-TRIKE 2.0 to riders in Seattle, New York, San Diego, Denver and across the U.S.

Best for an adult rider who wants an upright cargo trike, front and rear baskets, a 20Ah battery, a parking brake and a folding frame for reshaping the trike in storage.

Think twice if you need an exact lifting weight, guaranteed small-car fit, torque-sensing response, recumbent support or a named UL standard.

EUNORAU lists a front-hub 48V 500W continuous motor, more than 750W peak wording and an 80 Nm (59 lb-ft) manufacturer torque. These are ratings, not StreetRides acceleration, climbing or stopping tests.

The current control layout uses cadence sensing, five assist levels, a half-twist throttle, BC182 display and Shimano 7-speed 14-28T drivetrain. The page lists a 20 mph limited setting and Class 2 wording.

The current 48V 20Ah Samsung-cell battery stores 960Wh, and EUNORAU currently lists a compatible replacement-battery option.

Treat it as a best case, and keep margin for load, assist level, speed, stops, weather, surface, and tire pressure. Flat routes reach the top of that range. Hill routes near Asheville, Portland, or Pittsburgh land near the bottom. A 2A charger and four-to-six-hour charge time are listed.

Hydraulic brakes with 180 mm rotors, motor-cutoff sensors and a parking function are current listed equipment. The parking brake is useful while mounting or loading, but it does not replace level-ground judgment, correct setup or a pre-ride mechanical check.

The exact page says UL Certified Yes without naming a standard, certificate, file number or public exact-model listing.

Before the first low-speed ride, follow the supplied instructions and check wheel retention, tire pressure, steering, folding latches, fasteners, drivetrain, brake operation, controls and lighting. A three-wheel footprint also deserves a deliberate test of turning width and off-camber surfaces.

EUNORAU's manufacturer warranty is separate from StreetRides returns. The current policy requires proof, registration and original-purchaser status and excludes ordinary wear and labor. StreetRides return eligibility follows the StreetRides return policy.

Drive and energy: front 48V 500W continuous hub motor. Manufacturer more-than-750W peak wording and 80 Nm (59 lb-ft). Cadence sensor. Five assist levels. Half-twist throttle. BC182 LCD. Shimano 7-speed 14-28T drivetrain. 48V 20Ah Samsung-cell battery, 960Wh. 2A charger. Four-to-six-hour charge time. 60 to 100 mile EUNORAU rating. 20 mph limited setting.

Chassis and equipment: folding 6061 aluminum frame and quick-release stem. 20 x 3.0 INNOVA tires. Hydraulic brakes with 180 mm rotors, motor cutoff and parking function. Front LED and brake-function rear light. Front and large rear baskets. 440 lb total payload. Rider height 5 feet 1 inch to 6 feet 1 inch. Box 42 x 25 x 29 inches.

NEW-TRIKE 2.0 makes its strongest case through a practical combination: upright cargo capacity, front drive, a 20Ah battery, seven gears, hydraulic parking brakes and a folding frame.

The unresolved ownership questions are equally concrete. Measure, test fit and request documents where those answers control the purchase.

Choose the control and seating format before the range headline

NEW-TRIKE 2.0, ONE-TRIKE 2.0 and T1 answer three different trike priorities: upright cargo capacity with a large battery, rear-drive simplicity, or recumbent torque-sensing comfort.

Why these products
They are current StreetRides EUNORAU trikes with exact current manufacturer evidence and materially different drive, seating, energy and storage decisions.
StreetRides takeaway

Choose NEW-TRIKE 2.0 for the 20Ah battery, seven gears and upright basket layout. Choose ONE-TRIKE 2.0 for rear drive and a differential in a simpler drivetrain. Choose T1 when recumbent seating and torque sensing lead the decision.

Riding position and fit Do I want an upright saddle and backrest or a recumbent seat? Upright padded saddle and adjustable backrest. 5 ft 1 in to 6 ft 1 in
Evidence
The height range is not a substitute for testing reach, mounting and turning comfort.
Upright saddle and backrest. Published 5 ft 2 in to 6 ft 1 in
Evidence
A conventional upright alternative with a slightly different published fit range.
Recumbent mesh seat with adjustable backrest and headrest
Evidence
Exact seat height, boom range, rider-height range and full dimensions are not published.
Drive and control layout Where does the motor drive, and how does assist respond? Front 500W hub. Cadence assist. 7-speed. Hydraulic parking brake
Evidence
Current exact configuration. 80 Nm (59 lb-ft) and more-than-750W peak wording remain manufacturer ratings.
Rear 500W hub with differential. Single-speed. Hydraulic brakes
Evidence
Rear drive and a differential distinguish it from NEW-TRIKE's front motor and seven-speed drivetrain.
750W rear hub. Torque sensor. Half-twist throttle
Evidence
Only the published T1 configuration is described. Handling is not inferred.
Battery and published range How much battery energy is listed, and what range claim accompanies it? 48V 20Ah, 960Wh. 60 to 100 miles
Evidence
From EUNORAU's product page.
48V 14.5Ah, calculated 696Wh. 50 miles claim

Evidence
Unknown weight, dimensions and payload remain explicit rather than guessed.
Methodology and sources
StreetRides compared current exact manufacturer pages and current catalog identities on 2026-08-03. Battery energy is calculated from voltage and amp-hours. Broken cross-table criterion mappings were replaced with product-specific values on 2026-08-10. Every visible entry now maps one value to each displayed criterion.

Fit, low-speed handling, storage, delivered configuration and applicable local rules require buyer verification.

Frequently Asked Questions

EUNORAU lists a 60 to 100 mile range for the 48V 20Ah battery (960Wh).

From EUNORAU's product page.

The 6061 aluminum frame and quick-release stem fold.

Measure the vehicle opening, storage route and turns before ordering. Ask StreetRides for the current weight.

NEW-TRIKE 2.0 uses a front 500W hub motor, cadence sensing and a seven-speed drivetrain. ONE-TRIKE 2.0 uses rear drive with a differential and a single-speed drivetrain.

That changes where assistance enters the trike and how much shifting is available. A low-speed test ride is more useful than treating either layout as universally better.

EUNORAU lists a 440 lb total payload and shows a front basket plus a large rear basket with a solid wooden base.

Treat 440 lb as the total combined limit for rider, cargo and accessories, not as cargo-only capacity. Load evenly, secure items and keep weight within the delivered instructions.

The current page lists a 20 mph limited setting and calls the trike Class 2 while also using unlockable wording. StreetRides presents the limited configuration, does not promote unlocking and does not promise legal access in every location.

The page also says UL Certified Yes but does not name a standard, certificate, file number or public exact-model listing. Request the exact document if a building, insurer, employer or incentive requires it.

The exact product page presents a two-year limited manufacturer warranty. EUNORAU's detailed policy requires proof, registration and original-purchaser status and excludes ordinary wear and labor.

Manufacturer warranty and returns are different. StreetRides return eligibility follows the StreetRides return policy, not the manufacturer return policy.
