Choose a folding alternative if apartment carrying, small-vehicle transport or a compact stored footprint matters more. Choose another bike if you need a light bike to carry or access to paths that ban e-bikes.

Use the 823 to 1,012 mm seat-height range and 753 mm standover as a starting point, not a substitute for a fit check.

Velowave lists a 750W rated rear-hub motor, 1,000W peak and 85 Nm (63 lb-ft) torque. Rated output is what it holds; peak is a short burst. StreetRides has not tested acceleration, hill climbing or continuous power.

The supplier says its range test used a 165 lb (75 kg) load at 86 F, 70% humidity and level ground. A heavier rider, higher assist, throttle use, fast riding, elevation, stop-start traffic, wind, tire pressure and cold can lower usable range. Plan a route with reserve rather than treating the maximum as a guaranteed trip. Terrain sets your real range: flat routes get closer to the top number, and hilly routes land near the bottom.

The battery is described as internal to the frame. Velowave lists an 8-hour charge with the 48V 2A charger. Confirm those ownership details before depending on the Ranger 3.0 for daily transportation.

The material compromise is ownership certainty around mass. Velowave lists 82.67 lb with the battery and 100.53 lb boxed. That makes it a ground-floor-storage candidate, not a bike to buy for regular stair carrying. Range figures are best cases.
