The EKX GTS X22 moves this lineup to a 72V electrical system. EKX publishes a 6,000W rated rear-hub motor, 12,000W peak output, 280 N.m of torque and a 72V 30Ah removable battery. The 6061-T6 aluminum frame, adjustable fork, linkage-style rear suspension and two-piston hydraulic brakes are built around high-speed open-trail use.

At 124 lb with a 62 mph claim, GTS X22 is an electric dirt bike, not a street commuter. Its value is stronger high-voltage performance than X21 Max without the $4,899 price and 159 lb mass of M1. That only matters when you have a permitted area large enough to use it responsibly.

GTS X22 fits an experienced rider who wants the 72V step-up for open private land, desert-style riding or motorized trails, and who can maintain a heavy high-output machine. EKX recommends riders from 5 ft 5 in to 6 ft 5 in.

Choose something else if you need public bike-lane access, quiet neighborhood transportation, stair storage or ordinary bicycle service. The 124 lb chassis needs ground-level parking, a motorcycle-capable transport solution and a service plan for hydraulic brakes, suspension and high-voltage electrical components.

EKX publishes 6,000W rated output, 12,000W peak output, 280 N.m of torque and up to 62 mph. Those are maximum manufacturer figures, not a promise for every rider or surface. Loose ground, heat, battery state, load and controller settings change acceleration and top speed.

The 72V system is the key difference from X21 Max and TX1. It should be chosen for its ability to sustain a higher-output job, not for a two-mile errand. EKX lists an 84V 3A charger and a six-to-12-hour charge window. Charge while present in a dry ventilated area, inspect connectors before every charge and let the battery cool after hard use. Store it according to the delivered manual rather than leaving a full pack in heat or freezing conditions.

A 62 mph claim places GTS X22 outside ordinary e-bike rules. Use it only on private property or motorized routes that permit the exact vehicle. Do not assume it is. The 62 mph claim falls far outside ordinary e-bike classes. Confirm state and local motor-vehicle rules and use only private property or motorized routes that allow it.
