The MG2301 SILVERADO-HD is a low-step folding electric trike with 20 x 4-inch tires, a 750W front hub motor, removable 48V 14Ah battery, front and rear cargo storage, reverse and parking controls.

The first buying test is physical. DWMEIGI lists a 74-inch length and 31-inch rear width, so measure every doorway, turn and parking position before ordering.

Best for one adult who wants low-step access, wide tires, included cargo space and slow-speed positioning controls, with ground-level storage wide enough for a trike axle.

Choose another format if you need stair carry, a narrow storage path, a settled payload number or a verified exact-model whole-system certification record.

DWMEIGI publishes a 750W front BAFANG brushless hub motor, 80 N m and a 20 mph maximum. Shimano seven-speed gearing works beside thumb throttle, pedal assist, walk mode and reverse.

Three wheels support the trike at a stop, but they do not corner like a bicycle. Practice starts, turns and braking at low speed, keep loads centered, and verify state and local rules for throttle use.

The removable 48V 14Ah Samsung-cell pack calculates to 672Wh nominal. DWMEIGI currently lists an exact MG2301 and MG2302 replacement battery, which is useful evidence of a parts path but not a promise of permanent availability.

Manufacturer maxima are 35 miles on electric drive and 55 miles with pedal assist. Use four to six hours as the charging plan and expect load, hills, temperature, tire pressure, stops, and assist level to change real range. Flat retirement and RV markets like Phoenix, Tampa, and Tucson reach the top of the claim. Hill routes near Asheville, Portland, or Pittsburgh land near the bottom.

The current page lists turn signals, front and rear lighting, horn, parking brake and a lockable front suspension fork. Brake actuation and rotor diameter are not clearly published for the exact current MG2301, so StreetRides leaves those details unclaimed.

No exact MG2301 UL 2849 or UL 2271 listing number or independent record was verified. A charger statement does not certify the complete trike or battery. Store it under cover, charge it dry, and avoid sustained rain, direct water spray, puddles and submersion.

Do not schedule delivery around the listing's ten-minute installation line. The shared manual covers rear wheels, fenders, handlebar, front wheel, front basket and headlight, saddle, pedals, rear basket, battery and inspection steps. Qualified assembly or inspection is the safer expectation.

Warranty documents conflict. The current policy publishes two years for the frame and one year for other covered components, while the shared manual says one year for frame, motor and battery. Keep the policy shown at purchase. StreetRides returns follow the StreetRides return policy.

Drive: 750W front BAFANG brushless hub. 80 N m manufacturer claim. 20 mph maximum. Thumb throttle, pedal assist, walk mode, reverse and Shimano seven-speed gearing.

Battery: removable 48V 14Ah Samsung-cell pack. Calculated 672Wh. Claimed 35-mile electric and 55-mile assisted maxima. Four-to-six-hour charging plan.

Frame and fit: folding 6061 aluminum step-through frame. 14-inch step-over. 74-inch length. 49-inch wheelbase. 31-inch rear width. 32-to-38-inch saddle height.

Ride and cargo: 20 x 4-inch Kenda tires, MOZO lockable suspension fork, suspension seatpost, front basket limited to 11 lb (5 kg), rear basket and bag, and 15.3 gallons (58 L) of published storage.

Unresolved: page says 400 lb capacity while shared manual says 330 lb load. Complete-bike weight, packaged weight, brake actuation, sensor type and exact-model certification record were not verified.

The SILVERADO-HD makes sense when wide tires, low entry, reverse, parking controls and ready-made cargo storage matter more than compactness. The live $2,899 offer and both color variants are supported by the exact official feed.

The reasons to pause are equally concrete: 31 inches across the rear, a real assembly sequence behind a ten-minute headline, no exact certification record, and a 330 lb versus 400 lb load conflict that the delivered label and manual must settle.

The 48V 14Ah pack calculates to 672Wh, with an exact replacement battery currently listed by DWMEIGI.

  • MG2301 front fat tire, fender and headlight close-up Cushioning Without a Full-Suspension Claim

A lockable front fork, suspension seatpost and 20 x 4-inch tires address comfort. The rear frame is not suspended.

Frequently Asked Questions

DWMEIGI lists a 31-inch rear width and 74-inch overall length. Measure the narrowest doorway plus turns, ramps and parking space with clearance for your hands. Folding the frame does not narrow the rear axle.

DWMEIGI claims up to 35 miles on electric drive and 55 miles with pedal assist. These are manufacturer maxima, not StreetRides tests. Load, hills, stops, temperature, tire pressure and assist level change the result.

The current product page says 400 lb maximum capacity, while the shared MG2301 and MG2302 manual says 330 lb maximum load. StreetRides does not choose the larger figure. Follow the label and manual delivered with your trike and include rider, cargo, lock and accessories in the total.

Do not rely on that headline for planning. The shared manual documents wheels, fenders, handlebar, baskets, saddle, pedals, battery and inspections. Arrange qualified assembly or inspection if wheel, brake or electrical setup is unfamiliar.

No exact IP rating was verified, and DWMEIGI materials conflict on rain use. Store the trike under cover, charge it only when dry, and avoid sustained rain, direct water spray, puddles and submersion.

No exact-model whole-trike UL 2849 or battery UL 2271 listing number or independent record was verified. A charger statement does not establish certification of the complete trike or battery system.

DWMEIGI's current policy lists two years for the frame and one year for other covered components, with proof requirements and exclusions. The shared manual states different terms. Keep the policy presented at purchase. StreetRides returns follow the StreetRides return policy.
