Skip the Alpha when you need pavement-efficient narrower tires (the Hybrid's 27.5 by 2.4 inch KENDA tire is that), when off-road singletrack capability matters (the Hero's full suspension is built for that), or when your route depends on Class 2 access (the Hybrid's Class 2/3 switch handles that question).

Power comes from a 500W rated mid-drive motor that peaks at 1000W. The mid-drive layout at this rated wattage is the Alpha's defining engineering choice.
