The Gladius compresses OMW's 504Wh belt-drive platform into a 33.5-inch carbon-composite board with an integrated kicktail handle. At a published 24.3 lb, it is the easiest of these three OMW models to move through a lobby, across a platform or into a car, though it is still a substantial powered board.

Four graphic themes are offered with 105mm MAD Wheelz V2 or a 2-in-1 package that adds 92mm MAD Mini wheels. The shorter deck, deep concave and flexible segmented enclosure make the Gladius a distinct model, not a trimmed Lancer listing.

The Gladius fits an experienced rider who wants full-size battery capacity in a shorter board and expects some carrying between ride segments. It is especially relevant when storage length matters more than the Cavalry's bigger battery or the Lancer's longer, wider stance.

Think twice if you want a calm beginner board, frequently climb stairs with one hand, or need a tire setup for broken gravel. The handle helps, but 24.3 lb is not effortless. Before a downtown Chicago or Seattle route, confirm public access and remember OMW advises against wet riding.

OMW publishes up to 31 mph, a 38 percent climbing claim and 28 to 34 miles of tested range for the Gladius. Dual Hobbywing 4235 belt motors work through a 14S Hobbywing 9028 controller with regenerative braking and adjustable settings. These are manufacturer figures, not StreetRides tests.

The 105mm setup is the default street choice. The 2-in-1 version adds compact 92mm wheels for riders who want a second paved-surface feel. The smaller board does not cancel the physics of speed: stance, pavement quality, wheel grip, battery state and braking practice all matter.

OMW lists Samsung 21700 50S cells in a 14S2P pack rated at 10Ah and 504Wh. A 58.8V 4A charger is included, with a published charge time of about 2 to 2.5 hours.

Charge with the supplied compatible equipment in a dry, ventilated area while you are present. Allow the pack to return to a normal temperature after a hard ride, and stop using it after impact, water exposure, swelling, odor, connector damage or unusual heat until qualified support has assessed it.

The published 31 mph ceiling demands a skateboard-rated helmet, wrist guards, knee and elbow protection, gloves, closed-toe shoes and abrasion-resistant clothing. Practice the OLED remote, acceleration and braking in the lowest mode before riding near traffic or other people.

OMW states IP55 water resistance and advises against rain or wet conditions. OMW does not publish a model-specific downloadable U.S. certification document, so StreetRides makes no complete-board certification claim. The current OMW page names Versa 8.5-inch CNC RKP trucks. Any older Nexus wording is not repeated here.

The Gladius includes its kicktail handle, tail light, OLED remote, charger, tools and a manual in the box. OMW's exact-model videos cover handle installation, 92mm wheel installation and optional front or RGB lighting. Check belts, pulleys, trucks, wheel hardware, enclosure segments and the handle mount before every ride.

OMW publishes one year of coverage for electrical components and lifetime coverage for the deck. Those are manufacturer terms, not an automatic StreetRides outcome. StreetRides return policy governs your order. Keep packaging, serial information and dated evidence if support is needed.

Published deck: 33.5 x 9.8-inch carbon composite with 8mm concave. Board weight: 24.3 lb. Maximum rider load: 330 lb. Battery: Samsung 50S cells, 14S2P, 10Ah, 504Wh. Drive: dual Hobbywing 4235 belt motors. Top speed: up to 31 mph. Tested range claim: 28 to 34 miles. Charger: 58.8V 4A, about 2 to 2.5 hours. Trucks: current page lists Versa 8.5-inch CNC RKP. Packaged shipping weight is not published.

Gladius is the OMW answer for a rider who wants a compact deck without dropping to a small battery. Its 24.3 lb published weight and built-in handle make short carries more realistic than Cavalry, while the 504Wh pack keeps the board in long-session territory.

The compact format is not automatically easier for a new rider, and the 31 mph claim is serious. Choose it for storage length, a tighter platform and the two paved-wheel choices. Choose Lancer for a longer, wider stance, or Cavalry when battery capacity and mixed-surface wheel options outrank portability.

KEY ADVANTAGES

Why This Ride Stands Out

  • OMW Gladius electric skateboard Blade 105mm graphic 33.5-inch carbon-flex platform

The shorter deck and segmented enclosure reduce storage length while preserving the flexible carbon-composite ride OMW designed for this model.

  • OMW Gladius electric skateboard Mist 105mm graphic Integrated kicktail handle

The handle gives you a secure lift point for short transitions. The board still weighs 24.3 lb, so plan stairs and transit honestly.

  • OMW Gladius electric skateboard Myth 105mm graphic 105mm or 105mm plus 92mm

Choose the standard 105mm street setup or the 2-in-1 package when you want a second compact paved-wheel option and will maintain both.

Compare your options

Choose the OMW board by size, battery and wheel package

These three OMW boards share belt-drive performance but solve different ownership problems. Cavalry prioritizes battery and mixed-surface options, Gladius prioritizes shorter storage, and Lancer prioritizes a wide street-longboard stance.

Why these products
They are the three current OMW complete-board listings on StreetRides US and give a useful same-brand comparison without mixing parts, older editions or Ownboard products.
StreetRides takeaway

Choose Cavalry for the 864Wh battery and route-specific wheel choices, Gladius for the shortest deck and easiest short carry, or Lancer for the widest paved-riding stance and broader street-wheel packages.

Best for: Choose the Cavalry when you already know how to manage a remote-controlled board and want battery reserve for longer paved routes, private-property riding, or mixed surfaces. The wide deck and 330 lb published load ceiling also give larger riders a more relevant option than many compact boards.

OMW's high-capacity long-range board for experienced riders who value deck-flex choice and route-specific wheels over easy carrying.

Think twice if: Think twice if you need to carry your board onto transit or up several flights. OMW lists 38.5 lb. Also verify the exact law and property rules before a public ride in cities such as Los Angeles, Denver or Austin. Electric skateboards do not inherit e-bike access simply because they have an electric motor.

Best for: Choose Lancer when you want a wide, flexible longboard for carving and longer paved sessions, but do not need Cavalry's 864Wh battery or 175mm all-terrain package. Its published 26.5 lb weight is still a real lift, though the handle makes a short carry more controlled.

OMW's wide-deck street longboard for experienced riders who want stance room, a 504Wh battery and meaningful wheel-package choices.

Think twice if: Think twice if you want a compact transit board, a beginner-speed platform or a confirmed public route. A Boston campus, Portland path or Dallas park can have property-specific rules in addition to city and state law. Check the exact place before treating the 31 mph claimed board as transportation.

Frequently Asked Questions

OMW lists 24.3 lb and adds an integrated kicktail handle. That makes short carries and storage easier than Cavalry, but it is not a lightweight manual skateboard. Test whether you can safely manage that weight through your stairs, transit path or vehicle.

OMW publishes a tested range of 28 to 34 miles. Treat it as a favorable-condition range, not a guarantee. Rider weight, hills, temperature, wind, speed, stops, pavement and wheel choice change the actual distance.

The U.S. 2-in-1 configuration pairs 105mm MAD Wheelz V2 with 92mm MAD Mini wheels. It gives you two paved-wheel setups. Confirm the included pulleys, belts, and hardware for the exact configuration before ordering.

The current official product page reviewed by StreetRides lists Versa 8.5-inch CNC RKP trucks. Older or secondary OMW wording has referenced another truck name, so this listing follows the current exact product page and avoids presenting the older name as current.

We do not position a 31 mph claimed belt-drive board as a casual beginner choice. New electric-board riders should learn balance, remote response and braking at low speed in a clear legal area, ideally with experienced guidance.

OMW states IP55 but advises against wet riding. Public access also varies by state, city, campus, park and trail. Check the exact route before riding. An IP claim does not make wet riding safe or a route legal.
