Choose Lancer when you want a wide, flexible longboard for carving and longer paved sessions, but do not need Cavalry's 864Wh battery or 175mm all-terrain package. Its published 26.5 lb weight is still a real lift, though the handle makes a short carry more controlled.

Think twice if you want a compact transit board, a beginner-speed platform or a confirmed public route. OMW publishes up to 31 mph, a 38 percent climbing claim and 28 to 34 miles of tested range. Dual Hobbywing 4235 belt motors use a 14S Hobbywing 9028 controller with regenerative braking and adjustable settings. StreetRides has not independently measured those figures.

The wide deck and flex are the Lancer's core distinction. 105mm wheels are the simplest paved choice. The 92mm package changes road feel. 125mm wheels add diameter. Charge only with compatible supplied equipment in a dry, ventilated place while present. Let the pack cool after a hard ride. Stop use after impact, water exposure, swelling, odor, damaged wiring or unusual heat. For long storage, follow the manufacturer guidance instead of leaving the board fully discharged.

A 31 mph manufacturer claim calls for a skateboard-rated helmet, wrist guards, knee and elbow protection, gloves, closed-toe shoes and abrasion-resistant clothing. Learn the OLED remote and regenerative braking at low speed on clear private property before adding traffic, hills or pedestrians.

OMW states IP55 water resistance and advises against rain or wet conditions. No model-specific downloadable U.S. certification document was found. StreetRides therefore does not claim a complete-board safety certification or use the IP rating as permission for wet riding.

The decision is not just black versus red. Current official stock makes black the buyable color and red a visible out-of-stock option. Pick 105mm for the simplest ownership, or a 2-in-1 package only if the added wheel set solves a real route need and you are comfortable maintaining the hardware.
